...this might seem a little bit out of date, but i guess i'm the only living human beeing, man or woman, between 10 and 85 years, who still doesn't know how to knit or crochet! pretty embarrassing..! so that's my big next years mission to try out and learn, once and for all! :) greets from sweden!

I don't know how to crochet either! But that's not on my list, I have a sister to crochet stuff for me :)

Hmmm. Does it count if I say there isn't a new craft I really want to try, I just want more time for sewing. A craft I already know how to do. With some embroidery thrown in, and some more scrapbooking and art journaling.

At the top of my list for new crafts that I want to try, is papermaking! I find handmade paper to be absolutely gorgeous, and of course I use paper pretty much all the time, so how awesome would it be to use paper that I have made myself?!! I'm really excited about it....almost too excited to wait until next year! I'm goinng to have to wait though, because holiday season is approaching quickly and I have way too many other things that I have got to make and do!
P.S. I love vintage, and I love journals!

There is one, I have been dying to try....thread sketching. I have some of my old sketch books and drawings that I want to copy and use the thread sketching to bring them out off the pages and onto fabric, for cushions, bags and if I'm brave enough a canvas. Just hope it will look as good in real life as it does in my mind.

Next year, well, I might be able to take a number of photos of Spencer, while I babysit and make a nice scrapbook for us, the proud grandparents.

I would like to learn to sew using a sewing machine. I've seen some really cute tutorials for tote bags, stuffed animals, etc. and sewing by hand would take way too long. :)
