every (self-knitted) sweater needs a name

remember this post? well, i finally made it. and i am calling it 'the early bird winter' - probably because i spent a lot of time on this sweater in the wee hours of the morning when it was still dark outside, just knitting away into the day.

(i did this little self-timer self-portrait photoshoot and my not at all camera-shy little guy was very interested...)

i love the way it turned out and have been wearing it ever since finishing it, but i will return to smaller, short-term knitting projects now... and maybe start reading a new book?

It looks really nice and very cosy!!! I wish I could knit, although I doubt I'd be patient enough to do a big project like this sweater.

You've done a really lovely job Sylvia. And I love the wool you've used..it works so well with that skirt.

I love the sweater! What a great shape at the shoulders. And the yarn is fantastic.
