little bee and a professor's scarf

joining ginny of small things once again for the yarn along. i cast on the professor's scarf a few days ago, with malabrigo rios yarn in the colourway paris night. it's meant for my hubby. i had dreams of presenting him the finished scarf when we meet at the airport on thursday but i didn't quite make it. same with the shalom in lettuce i shared when i first arrived here. i finished the body and will knit the sleeves during quiet evenings in my favourite spot in our apartment.

i'm only a few pages into that book. i'm putting in into my hand luggage but my guess is that if the little man does sleep for longer stretches i'll either do so myself or rely on the airline's inflight entertainment system ;)

what are you knitting and reading?

Rios is one of my favorite yarns right now. Perfect for a scarf!

Oooh, that will be so lovely! I am working on a knit pillow (the September Pillow from Quince & Co) for my mom for Christmas! I have to start it now because I am a very slow knitter, hehe :) Good luck with your project!
