Oh, I don't mind when they are little, but I still am a little bit afraid of the big frogs!

We have frog obsession in our house - I am rapidly learning all about them as get random questions like - do frogs have ears ...., off to the library tomorrow to get a book about them.

He looks very complacent! My shot is of a bug contemplating his shadow!

I've never seen a frog/toad in person. Heard them many times though. One of my favorite spring/summer sounds are the peepers in the evening!

Hello little toad, we have a snake near our pool that would love to be your friend :)

Aww, look who decided to help with pool clean-up! I call my 7 year old daughter the "toad whisperer" because she loves to pick them up and talk to them!

He's a cute little guy! I remember being surprised by a toad on my back deck's top railing...this was a deck that was 20' high, open stairs and no trees around it at all. Either he was one brave toad to hop up all those stairs or a big old bird dropped him from the sky. I'm sure your little guy loves his new 'pet'.

OMGosh! You know, we had one jump out of one of our vegetable bags once... after it had been in the fridge overnight! Can you imagine?!?!

After a short break, we finally picked up another share from our CSA... no frogs in this one, though! lol http://sofiasideas.com/2012/04/13/this-moment-61/

oh goodness, I am JEALOUS! We have a toad hanging out in our pond in the backyard who REFUSES to play with me. I've tried to catch him several times now, which ruined my favorite shoes in his mud. I'll keep at it though. If he'd just let me hold him just once, he'd know we were meant to be friends....! I'm also thinking I need a real hobby... :)

You must have excellent water quality in that pool of yours!
