a shalom in lettuce and a book from the woods

i'm making myself a second shalom in a lovely soft, malabrigo chunky merino yarn... it's very thick and will be perfect for when we come back (not thinking of that at the moment of course!!) into the cold german autumn. i LOVE the colour, i've been eyeing malabrigo in lettuce for a very long time... and now i'm making something with it. i started louise dickinson rich's "we took to the woods". although we are in georgia, and not in maine, i can imagine myself there very well, because we surrounded by woods as well. i'm enjoying the conversational style in which the book is written.

joining up with the yarn along of ginny's blog small things and with creative spaces. have a great day!!

Just popped over because I loved your idea for a seasonil mobile on ROTH... I'm going to work on that project with the kids this weekend. And how lovely that color is on your shalom, too! And a book suggestion too, that looks interesting. :) Boy - I've been inspired by you 3 times in less than 5 minutes.
